ARE YOU AWARE?

Manitoba has now implemented a NEW Commercial Vehicle Trip Inspection Regulation, MR 95/2008, effective July 1, 2008, which includes the latest provisions of National Safety Code (NSC) Standard 13 with a 6 month “soft” enforcement period.

Part of the NEW regulation mandates a copy of Inspection Schedule (applicable to the vehicle) must be carried with the driver as well as some form and manner requirements on the Daily Inspection Report.

NCL has printed the required Schedule for Truck, Tractor and Trailer on the back cover of our Daily Vehicle Inspection books and Driver’s Daily Log books, as well as incorporating the form and manner requirements to meet the new Manitoba Provincial Regulation and the NSC Standard 13.
